Feeling stuck personally or professionally is common as we mature. What’s important when we are 18 years old can be totally different from what’s important at 48 or 58 years old. As new goals take priority you may be forced to take a pause before shifting to the next level of success. This can create unwelcomed feelings like fear, loneliness, lack, and even feeling stuck.
That stuck feeling can often be associated with opposing goals, unmet accomplishments, or even shifts in life that you didn’t expect. What can feel even more upsetting is when you reach all the goals you set for yourself, but they don’t feel the way you thought they would.
Midlife crises are usually associated with men, but women experience them too. That's where financial therapy comes in. In the early days of my Financial Therapy practice, I helped men understand how their beliefs and behaviors around money created an unfulfilling life. Even though they had lots of money and material things they didn’t have meaning and purpose. This awareness and the step-by-step program I shared with them helped them make positive changes in all areas of their life.
By combining the principles of existential therapy, hypnotherapy, physiology, financial therapy can help when navigating a midlife crisis. During a midlife crisis, whether man or woman, one becomes more aware of the things that have blocked them or held them back from feeling prosperous. For some chasing money got in the way of true happiness, while for others chasing happiness got in the way of true wealth.
You can have both, even if you are over 50 and you don’t know how.
If you know what you want, I can help you determine how to get it. Whether you hang out with me in my community or you and I get to work together in a deep in powerful way in my private counseling program, I’ll share all the principles I learn in my studies, in my own life experience as a business owner, and in my research from working with thousands of people over the last 20 years.
There are so many ways to learn more about Financial Therapy and how it can help you. And if you’re not yet ready to join me in the community or in the program, I have some great news. I'll be appearing on more podcasts, summits, and conferences this year sharing my knowledge and tools. In the month of May, I’ve teamed up with Natalie Jill to offer my insights on her Midlife Conversations Deep Dive Summit.
The summit is free and accessible to anyone, anywhere, and features a variety of experts who will be sharing their insights on topics related to midlife. Whether you're looking to make a career change, improve your relationships, or simply find more joy in your daily life, the Midlife Conversations Deep Dive Summit is a great place to start.
So if you're ready to take the next step towards achieving your goals, I invite you to join us, it’s free. And you can even invite friends that you know are going through the same things you’re going through. You can sign up for free here. And if you enjoy my episode, I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback in the community. So in addition to the summit, I’m also inviting you to join the Financial Therapy Challenge Community so we can continue the conversation.
I currently spend most of my time teaching Financial and Mental Health Professionals how to incorporate Financial Therapy into their personal and professional lives so they can make money while making a difference without burning out. However, if you're not a financial or mental health professional, you’re still welcome to join because there are all kinds of service-based business owners in the community.
Being a part of the summit gave me a chance to speak to the same clients my clients speak to. It is a joy for me to pour into all the attendees of the summit and to help them understand that they are not alone. There are millions of women and men going through midlife and looking for help to navigate it with ease.
I'm excited to be a part of this summit and I truly believe that financial therapy can help you, your colleagues and friends to navigate midlife with more ease and clarity. So don't miss out on the summit and this opportunity to learn from experts in a variety of fields and take your life to the next level. Although you and I may not get to work together privately, after the summit you could always join the Financial Therapy Challenge if you find that Financial Therapy is exactly what you need in your life right now.
I’m excited to learn what you enjoy most about the summit, but also the Financial Therapy Challenge community. It is my life’s work and I am so passionate about it. Can you tell?
